I have worked as an editor and proofreader for a variety of clients, including individual authors as well as publishers. Here are a few of the books I’ve worked on:

  • Everywhere a Guest, Nowhere at Home by Kim Chernin (developmental editing of a stirring collection of essays on the Israel-Palestine conflict)
  • Building the Green Economy by Kevin Danaher (copyediting of a nonfiction book on environmentalism and economics)
  • Islam and Muslim Politics in Africa edited by Benjamin F. Soares and RenĂ© Otayek (proofreading of an academic anthology)
  • The Gift of Danger by Mary Stein (developmental editing of an octogenarian’s collection of personal essays on Aikido)
  • Bagua Linked Palms by Wang Shujin (proofreading of a book on the martial art of Bagua Zhang, by a renowned master)
  • The Concise Book of Trigger Points by Simeon Niel-Asher (proofreading of a bodywork manual)
  • A Practical Guide to Acu-points by Chris Jarmey and Ilaira Bouratinos (proofreading of an anatomy guide/bodywork manual)
